DARK ENERGY and DARK MATTER : To further substantiate the physical nature of the complex mathematical domain -- it was shown that the v>c label characterizes the complex mathematical domain, as the v<c label characterizes the real. The former indicates a spacetime expansion, and the latter a contraction. In conventional terms, negative and positive spacetime curvature respectively.

Such contraction is identical to that of non-zero rest mass particles contraction with approach to light speed as commonly noted in ordinary special relativity, and therefore not speculation.

Also, such expansion is not speculation in that it is routinely observed that the universe is expanding; further this expansion is observed to be accelerating. And acceleration implies force. It is contended that this force is a primal repulsive gravitation, commonly referred to as the "cosmological constant." But in this context it is not ad hoc as in general relativity. This effect causes a large scale bubble-like pattern of galactic superclusters, as though sponge chemicals have been catalyzed, resulting in an open-celled sponge. Expansion is apparent in the voids, and contraction ("attractive gravitation") at the void walls. Thus expansion has the effect of Dark Energy and contraction has the effect of Dark Matter -- the same effect on different scales. This could explain why either has not be observed. It is the character of spacetime itself.
